Android App Setup Guide

In this setup guide, we'll show you how to install and set up an Android privacy app that not only safeguards your privacy but also offers comprehensive antivirus protection. 

Installation

Installing Android apps on smartphones is a simple process that can be done in just a few steps. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to install Android apps on your smartphone:

1. Open the Google Play Store: The Google Play Store is the primary source of Android apps. You can access it by tapping on the Play Store icon on your home screen or app drawer.

2. Find Activate Privacy: Once you have the Play Store open, you can search for Activate Privacy by typing its name in the search bar at the top of the screen. You can also click HERE or the button below:
   

3. Select the app: When you find Activate Privacy, tap on it to open the app page. Here, you'll see the app's description, ratings, and reviews.

4. Click "Install": If you want to proceed with installing the app, click on the "Install" button. You may be asked to grant certain permissions, such as access to your camera or contacts. Review the permissions and click "Accept" to proceed.

5. Wait for the app to download: The app will begin downloading automatically. Depending on the speed of your internet connection, this may take a few seconds or a few minutes.

6. Open the app: Once the app is downloaded, you can open it by tapping on the "Open" button. You can also find the app on your home screen or app drawer.

That's it! The app is now installed on your smartphone and ready to configure some settings. 

Initial Settings

Before you can use the app, there are some permissions and settings you will need to setup. This is a quick and simple process. In order for our app to protect your device, you will need to allow the app access to some systems on your phone, all of which require you to allow by clicking through the prompts.

To take advantage of all of the features of the app, click "Allow" on the following 4 prompts.

1. Pictures and Record Video - this allows you to use the app to turn off camera access to your other apps.
2. Record Audio - this allows you to use the app to turn off the microphone on your phone, and block other apps from using it.
3. Manage Phone Calls - 
4. Photos, Media & Files - this allows you to use the document scanning tool, to ensure your files on your phone do not expose your private information

When you have completed these prompts, you will be then taken to the licence key activation screen. You can remove any of these permissions at any time in your phone's settings, or by going to "Remove Permissions" in the Main (Hamburger) Menu

Activate Licence Key

You will receive your app licence key via email when you have a paid subscription, and you also can access it in your Customer Dashboard

Your licence key will look like this - AL1CN-KEY77-1NOTA-REAL1

Enter it in the spaces provided, and press the green Activate button at the bottom.

When your key is accepted, you will be taken to the main screen, you can now start using the app to protect your phone and your privacy.

Main Screen

From the main screen you can quickly access all of the app's features:

• Antivirus Scan

• Virtual Private Network (VPN)

• Dark Web Scanner

• Document Scanner

• Anti-Tracking Web Browser

• Privacy Advisor

• Camera Blocker

• Microphone Blocker

Main (Hamburger) Menu

You can access the extended hamburger menu by clicking the three horizontal white lines at the top left of the app. From this menu you can access all of the app features available on the Main Screen, as well as view Antivirus Scan History, Settings, Updates, and Remove Permissions.
